Project & Programme Management

Expede’s primary focus is project and programme management for universities and colleges. We have a core team of consultants with deep sector knowledge and a group of associate subject matter experts, who work in partnership with clients to deliver projects that conquer the challenges of today and prepare the client for tomorrow.

We offer a range of services and work with clients to manage their projects and programmes to successfully meet  their desired outcomes and overcome their challenges. Our engagement can range from a few days to multi-year projects and we pride ourselves in the collaborative partnerships we develop with clients over the years.

We also work closely with a number of universities for whom we established their PMO and project methodology, and provide ongoing support for updating and evolving their approach and ways of working.

Below is an example of our internal project methodology and structure and all our project staff hold relevant qualifications such as Prince II, APM, or BCS. You can view our team on the Team page.

Examples of recent projects include:

  • Portfolio Office- Developing an appropriate governance model for the management of a university’s £5m per annum capital investment for digital change. This university lacked a consistent approach to approvals and projects delivery and existing tools, documents and processes were dated. A new Steering Committee, updated governance processes and supporting tools were developed as part of this initiative. This also involved line managing the 20 strong Portfolio team to develop and transition them to the new ways of working.
  • All Programmes– All the recent projects listed in our services section have utilised our project managers and some of our key resources.
